Jessica Graduates... the sequel!

You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. You are the guy who'll decide where to go.” - Dr. Seuss

This is my niece Jess. She's beautiful isn't she... better yet, shes super SMART! We're so proud of the beautiful young woman that she has become, and for all of the wonderful adventures that she has yet to embark on. (Her boyfriend Cameron is pretty great too!)

I photographed Jess when she graduated Grade 8 too! (And as she reminded me today, I also did her hair for that event as well as today's- I wear many hats. Ha!)

Here's a taste of the fun we had this afternoon with her and her friends.

Congrats beautiful! I love your guts! xo

Cormac William Copithorne

What a week! A beautiful wedding, and a visit to Calgary to visit another bestie, Jessica and her new, sweet little family!

This little guy is too sweet! What a GOOD baby and he has a WONDERFUL mama who just loves him to bits.

So naturally, I had to photograph them both because I love them to bits too! ♥

Mr & Mrs Christopher Bailey

So my high school bestie got hitched on Saturday, to an AMAZING guy! Their wedding was beautiful, and so well-planned- the love and excitement emanated from all of the adorable decorations.

Kelly is such a beautiful, kind and giving person. We've been friends for 15 years, and it feels as though there never was a 'start' to it all, though coincidentally, we met over a cat- which may come as no surprise to those who know Kelly... (long story, but it wasn't alive. lol) We spent the next four years of our teenage lives together all day at school and then drove our parents crazy tying up the phone lines for hours in the evening- even if we weren't actually carrying on a conversation. We've shouldered each-others firsts, successes, joys and heartaches. She is more than a 'Bestie', she is a sister, and I am so thankful that on rare occasion in our lives we get to adopt special 'family' members....

Kelly was stunning- not only did her dress look absolutely gorgeous, but she was poised and strong as she carried out her special day in the absence of her mother and father who have passed in recent years. I am certain that they were shining down on her during this special time, and blessing her with the beautiful weather we had. You have made them proud Kelly. Beautiful girl, inside and out, how fitting for the daughter of angels. ♥

Chris is wonderful! We loved him right away from the start- his thoughtfulness and gentle-heart and humor is only matched by that of his new wife (and of course my hubby. Ha!) Kelly, you couldn't have done any better... he's a one-in-a-lifetime. ♥

Congratulations Kelly and Chris! Frank and I are so excited for your new journey, and that we get to come along from time-to-time. xo

Love her!!!! (And we LOVE cupcakes! Lol)
